  1. I'm excited to see what your graphs will look like, and how maybe what you listen to creates a positive or a negative outcome or feel towards the task you are doing at the time.

    1. What are your plans for the layout? I think this is a good idea with good information. i do not know most of these bands but is there a certain genre or beat that you tend to listen to doing different activities? that is something to think about.

    2. You should try to incorporate some kind of illustrations that show the difference in the music/songs, like that Queen and David Bowie are very different from the Dresden Dolls and MGMT (in era, genre, etc.) This is important especially for those looking at your data who may be unfamiliar with these musicians.

    3. This is interesting because music influences so many aspects of human life. We feel so much more motivated while listening to music. It would be dynamic if you could create moods in your mapping. Which emotions do these musicians elicit? It could be use of color, or vibrancy, or linework. Like the motion graphics that Nancy showed us, music becomes illustrated.

  2. You have a really great opportunity here to bring the music you listen to "to life". I'd really take a look at some music related infographics to see how they could better help you with your creative process.

  3. I'm not sure what you have in mind for your layout but the concept is interesting. You should definitely have illustrations that show the different kinds of music you listen to for each task.

  4. I can see many posibilites with this idea. However, the influences are not helping me is understanding any kind of layout that you are aiming for. One thing that I can see about you layout is that you could go to a timeline concept since you broke down what you listen to when your doing certain activities. In addition, with your data choice being all music I suggest looking at some visual representations of music.

  5. I agree, I think this is a great idea but I would try to elaborate on your sources in order to get a better understanding about what your info graphic is going to look like.

  6. I really like this idea. I wanted to do something with music, but I go through musical moods and will listen to the same band for like a month at a time, without changing it up. It's hard to comment because I'm not exactly sure what some of your influences are, but I am interested to see what you come up with. I agree with some of the comments above in that you should look for information graphics specifically involving music.

  7. I think this is a creative idea and easily relatable as most of us probably listen to a lot of music like you. You also have influences that would suit your data well.

  8. I think using a combination of the first and last examples are going to be your best bet to clearly get your point across. I think it's a really cool idea to show the music you listen to, how much and when. I love knowing what others are listening to, I love getting into new music so I'll definitely be excited to check yours out when you're done with it !!

  9. This is really interesting. You listen to ALOT of music! I think that executing your idea through something like the first graph would be the easiest to organize and understand all of the information. I think that the 3rd graph would be really effective too. You would be able to see the fluctuation in musical preferences easily.

  10. I do like your idea, but maybe even illustrate different type of line graphics that may even go with your mood at the time you are listening to these songs

  11. This will be interesting to see what you come up with because you can do a lot with the music and the type of person you are because of what you listen to this graphic could be very creative. doing something with rhythm and noise.
